About Cuddly Beans & The Founder
“Cuddly Beans is built on a simple belief—pets deserve the same quality of hygiene and health that humans expect for themselves. With my experience of building large consumer brands, I’m now building a brand that helps pet parents care better, clean better, and feed better, so pets can live longer and happier lives.”
— Suveer Vatsyayan, Founder, Cuddly Beans
A COVID-Era Question That Sparked a New Brand:
The idea of Cuddly Beans was born during the COVID pandemic—when hygiene became a daily habit for people across the world. While consumers stocked up on sanitizers, soaps, and immunity-boosting diets, Suveer found himself thinking about a segment that was being overlooked.
“If humans are using sanitizers and healthy diets to stay protected, how are pet parents ensuring hygiene and well-being for their pets?” he recalls.
At the same time, pet adoption in India surged, and millions of dogs and cats became part of households. However, pet parents faced limited awareness, inconsistent hygiene routines, and a shortage of functional pet wellness products designed for everyday use.
That realization laid the foundation for a brand that would soon become deeply personal.
Inspired by Cuddle, Real Pet Parenting Meets Brand Strategy:
Suveer adopted a pet named Cuddle, and with that came the everyday realities of pet parenting—maintaining pet hygiene, keeping the home clean, managing pet health concerns, and finding safe, premium-quality products that could be trusted.
It wasn’t long before he realized a major gap in the Indian market: while global pet brands existed, there were very few Indian brands building a complete ecosystem around pet hygiene and functional wellness, specifically designed for India’s young and millennial pet parents.
Thus, Cuddly Beans was born—named after Cuddle and built to solve the everyday hygiene and health needs of pets.
Known for his nearly 20 years of senior management experience in sales, marketing, and distribution scale-up, Suveer has worked with leading multinationals including PepsiCo, Red Bull, Mattel Toys, Emami, Avon, and Reliance Brands. His corporate career has been marked by high-impact brand-building roles, where he played a key role in launching and reviving some of India’s most recognizable consumer products.
